A family of instructional artifacts that help designers and non-designers factor the experiential and ethical
gravity of different material options. Even though the egg shape seems natural, chicken eggs are highly processed in manufacturing systems in these days. Defamiliarizing these familiar objects will guide users to directly questioning in their unrecognized factors of ecological imbalances, as well as inviting them to engage these questions in their daily lives.
My aim here is to provide a format for qualifying various factors that drive material choices, while providing users(designers and consumers) the opportunity to compare, contrast, and make educated decisions through a hands-on, tactile experience.
